First off, I need to say Happy Mother's Day to my amazing mom. She has done so much for me, and I have under appreciated her. She is such an awesome mom and is a good friend to me too. We haven't always been the best of friends, but in the past few years, we've become a lot more close, especially in the last month or so. She has been such a help with Liam and helping me become a good mom. I think I owe her about 23 years of Thank You's!
I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day this year, and it was fabulous! On friday Conor came home from work and surprised me with this!
I have been wanting a picture of the temple for some time and he got me a beautiful watercolor-like painting of the Salt Lake Temple. He also surprised me with beautiful peach roses and some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. On Saturday we went and got my wedding ring cleaned and re-dipped and then got a great dinner and dessert at Cheesecake Factory.
Liam made me a Mother's Day present too! Ok, ok.... I cheated a bit and made this for myself with Liam's cute little footprints. But it's adorable right! Mom's always LOVE homemade gifts and I decided to start the tradition early! I think Liam thought his mom was insane while we were painting his feet and his toenails were blue for a few days after, but I think it turned out adorable.
It was so fun to be able to celebrate Mother's Day as a new mom. I am so in love with my little boy, and my Conor made it such a great weekend. It was also fun to celebrate with the Mom's in my life. I think I have the greatest mom. I haven't always thought this, ( see: my teenage years). But in the past few years, as I have grown up, gotten married, and now had a baby, I think we have grown a lot closer. She has been SO helpful with Liam and I really don't know how I would have gotten through those first few weeks without her help. I also think I have great Mother in Laws. I got pretty lucky in that department. All in all, it was a great weekend and I can't wait for many more Mother's days to come!

Oh! Happy first mother's day!! Like a week late, but whatever!! Haha, you need to start taking pics of Liam by something like a bear so you can tell how much he grows. I did that with Tate, and while at first he didn't seem to be getting much bigger, it's cool to look back and see that he really has!! I took one on his month anniversary's. So if you haven't already, you're a little behind!! Jk. Love ya!
