Labor Day Weekend!

To say that our Labor Day weekend plans were last minute, would be putting it lightly. Conor got a call from his friend Lance while he was at work on Friday to invite us up to Bear Lake with them and another family for the weekend. Conor called me and I got to packing. Conor literally got home from work, changed, and we jumped in the car with the Gummersalls to head up to the cabin. It was SO nice of the Greens to let us crash with them. Their cabin was beautiful and their three kids are adorable. Loud.Crazy.Rowdy.Twins.Adorable. We had such a blast this weekend. We are so grateful again for their generousity and kindness for letting us enjoy the weekend with them. Saturday we hit up the lake with a set of WaveRunners. It was so much fun to ride some of those again! Conor was gracious enough to let me drive and we got some good speed and some pretty good air a few times. It was a beautiful day. We really couldn't have asked for better.

Here's my two cute boys! I love them so much, and I loved being at the beach with them. It was so fun to have a fun lazy day!

This was Liam's first time at the beach. Being the outdoorsy kid that he is, I knew he would love it!

Lance and Conor playing a game in the water and throwing rocks. They are such boys!

Conor and Lance, just soaking up the sun and enjoying the break!

Add Liam into that as well. He LOVES being outside!

Liam's first encounter with sand. He loved it. He especially loved the wet sand and the crashing of the waves against his legs.

Just playing in the sand.

Oh how I love the beach! Too bad this was our one and only time this year!

Little boy is all tuckered out after a long day at the lake.

How cute are my boys?!?! Could I get any more lucky???

Our view from the cabin. Can you say breathtaking? I watched the sunrise one morning and it was just gorgeous!

don't mind my haggered look...I was really taking it easy this weekend!

Up next is the newest game invented by the boys. If you are an avid follower of the blog then you have probably caught on to the fact that wherever we go with any of the boys, there is always some sort of game, or competion involved. It keeps things interesting!

Lance, seen here, was launching the football from off the deck to the road down below, about 60 or so yards away.

Down on the road, the ball was to be caught by the rider on the 4 wheeler.

Conor was the spotter to find the football when it wasn't caught. After several attempts and postion switching they were able to complete their goal. Conor was the driver, Lance caught the ball, Greener threw from the deck. They were SO happy about accomplishing this! The video is just one of the many attempts. Unfortunately we didn't get "The Catch" on tape.

Conor and I just chilling in the cabin.

Christine's patriotic fruit pizza.

After we got back from Bear Lake, my parents invited us over for a BBQ and then we ditched the kid and went and saw Crazy, Stupid Love. It was really good and we loved having a mini date night. What a great weekend, and now.......back to reality!
