My Little Helper

Oh man. Liam is so curious! It's been fun watching him learn and grow, but very exhausting at the same time. I love my little helper!

Very Merry Christmas

Christmas this year was a whole lot of fun. It's hard to believe that this is mine and Conor's FOURTH christmas together! I cannot believe how fast that went by. All of them have been wonderful and he has been so fun to share it with. But this year it was just a little more special. It was fun to have a little one to shop for and to actually have presents under our tree this year! Liam did pretty well with staying away from the tree, but he LOVED climbing all over the presents. Have I mentioned before that he is a climber? Cause he is!

We celebrated Christmas Eve as we always do, out in Grantsville. Dinner was lovely, and the company was great. The toy in the picture above was Liam's present to his cousin Noah. He was a little more fond of it, and kept going after it. I guess we should have got him a truck or something!

Liam had a great time opening presents and had a blast with the paper and bows.

Over the Christmas break, Conor had a couple days off work and Liam turned into such a Daddy's boy! He wanted to be with his dad all the time!

Oh, and don't you just love his festive holiday sweater???? I totally LOVE it. It was a gag gift at a white elephant party last year with Cono'r friends and wifes. And it was re-gifted this year. I was so glad that Liam could fit into it! Yes, I totally know that it is actually really ugly, but in a really cute sort of way! Liam was very concerned about the "snowballs" on the sweater and spent the evening trying to pull them off, ( also the next day since I totally made him sport the sweater again for my side of the family!)Christmas morning we woke up and headed to church. When we got home it was time for presents. I think Liam was confused that I was letting him touch the presents and actually encouraging him to tear into them, since we'd spent all month trying to keep him away from them!

Daddy helped Liam with his presents and set up his new sports toy. It a cute little set up with a basketball that counts your shots and cheers when you get the ball in. A tee-ball thing and a little football that spins.

Enjoying his new toy! Liam also got a pretend remote that makes noise and counts. We got him one since he is always trying to steal the remote from us. We have to pretend that we like to use his though, or else he isn't interested. He is one funny kid! He got some other little knick knacks and some clothes and a new coat. He's still so little and doesn't really understand, but he did good for such a little guy. Conor made out with a new BlueRay Player, a movie, clothes, and an old school nintendo game. And he completely surprised me with a NOOK Color. I LOVE IT. He always does such a good job at surprising me! We've been addicted to the game, Words with Friends, ever since!

Liam also turned 9 months on Christmas! I will do a post on him and his stats soon. Don't worry, he's still a little guy!

Here Comes Trouble......

This doesn't look like the face that can get into much trouble does it?

Well, as surprising as it may be, Liam has turned into a little explorer man. Last week he finally mastered the art of pulling himself up into a standing position. He has been very pleased with himself and gotten himself into all sorts of situations.

Climbing into his own carseat.
The puzzled look on his face whenever I catch him getting into something.
It has "guilty" written all over it!

Then he learned how to stand up in his crib!

Looks like that's getting lowered today!

Oh, is it swinging time next?

Um, I think he might be doing it wrong. Or maybe this is how the

cool kids are swinging now days......

Liam loves to help me with chores, and tries to climb into the dryer and the dishwasher.

But, Liam's all time favorite thing in the entire house......is the tub!

This kid sees the bathroom door open and he books it to the tub.

BathTime happens to be a favorite part of the day, so I can see why he is always wanting to get in there!

And finally, he has discovered the fireplace and is constantly trying to climb into it. Don't worry I keep a watchful eye on the little fellow!

I just think I have a lot of trouble coming my way, don't you?
